When the homeowner on the left installed a concrete slab for his new shed, the contractor had to add fill dirt in order to level off the property with the side exit.  However, since there was nothing holding the fill in place, it was eroding towards the house.  This was not only creating a muddy mess, but also destabilizing the fill.  This would have eventually caused damage to the concrete slab.
