This is another style of fence we are sometimes asked to install: a scalloped top line. Rather than a straight profile with straight-cut or dog-ear trim, the top of the fence is cut into a “U” shape.  This decorative style offers a unique design preferred by some homeowners.

The particular cedar fence was installed for a home in a subdivision in Rochester. Because there were other homes in the subdivision already with this type of profile, this was a natural fit.
